Manufactura - Presence: Into The Here And The Now

What I like about Manufactura can be summed up in this little story. I let someone I know listen to the CD, and their initial reaction to it-- besides commenting that it was very good-- was that the guy behind this release has Issues. Yes, Manufactura is an angry twisted individual who has issues and problems, and those problems and issues manifest themselves in music that is dark and twisted. The key to the music is that Karlos from Manufactura doesn't write music he think will be cool because he has injected some fake angst into it. His anger comes from within. It may be a little tripe to say, but this music could very well be an act of catharsis, and it rings true.

Perhaps if Karlos got some much needed help, his music would begin to suck. So against all reasonable judgment, I would advise him to keep on stay his present course... just don't move in next door to me, and maybe don't carry a knife into a club (but that's another story).
