Camp 301

Camp 301 was built in 1946, log construction, in Bennwiess Twp. Initially the pulpwood was floated to Camp 300 for delivery by rail. Around 1956 it was sent by truck to Duke Lake (Phillip House) on the East Branch of the Spanish River for river drive to Espanola. The camp was closed in 1963.
