Camp 5
| Camp 5 was built in 1946, initially as a tent camp for
the builders of the West Branch Dam #1, located in Twp G (later Oshell) on the Wakonassin
River. Later a small frame camp was built to house dam tenders and log drivers. The camp was burned in 1966 and the dam was turned over to MNR in 1967. Co-ordinates: N 5201666 m, 17 446967 m (NAD83) |
