By far the most militarily advanced country in Neo-Babylonia, Megapudding is most famous for its military history. Megapudding began in the year 14 with the founding of Pudding. When the llamas sacked Biftech in the year 13, they exiled slugs, kypros, goats and many others. The exiles fled along the Biftreble River (now Hyperbolia River). Many settled at Bolia or Hyper, others continued all the way to the area then referred to as the Pudding Lands, where the settlement of Pudding was established.
The goal of the Puddites from the beginning was the recapture of Biftech. They began to establish their city and develop military technology. The children of Pudding were sent through intense military training. The Puddites established trade with the nearby city of Bolia and the slightly further east city of Hyper. The Puddites laid claim to all land north of Hyperbolia River, and called the immense territory Megapudding. The llamas, meanwhile, had assumed the the land north of the Hyperbolia to be theirs, and referred to the area as Pudding territory.
By the year 21, the largest cities in Neo-Babylonia were Biftech, Treble, Hellpuke, Llamania, Duckville, Bolia, Pudding and Hyper. Llamania, the capital of the llamish empire, was constantly at war with Duckville, capital of the growing Bird Empire. Both sides were extremely weakened by the war. In the year 23 the entire llama army was attacking Duckville, and the Puddites saw their chance. Armies marched east from Pudding, Hyper and Bolia and recaptured Biftech. The Pudding Flag (a rectangular flag, the top half of which is puce representing the skies above Megapudding, the bottom half is off white representing tapioca and rice pudding) now flew over the cities of Pudding, Hyper, Bolia and Biftech.
The llamas were still hacking at the ducks in Duckville, and losing. The puddites were able to pull a swift capture of Hellpuke and Treble. The llamas were exiled, and sent south where they settled along the shores of the Slazik in the towns of Tonsil, Quishel and Saran. The puddites now truly had a claim to all of Neo-Babylonia north of Biftech and west of the Slazik, the largest empire in Neo-Babylonia.
But as history has shown, large empires cannot last. The llamas fled from Duckville and returned to Llamania. The ducks, overly confident after their victory over the llamas, marched north and attacked Hyper. The Army of the Puddites was away fighting in the town of Sol. The commander was informed that Hyper was being attacked, and is reported to have said, "So?" Hyper fell to the ducks, but the population soon overthrew them in the Hyperian Rebellion of 30.
When Hyper escaped from Duckish domination, the Pudding Flag no longer flew over the town. The Hyperians wanted independance. They began to spread nasty rumours to the people of Bolia and Biftech. Bolia soon threw off the Pudding Flag aswell. The two cities merged and formed the Independant Union of Hyper and Bolia, or, Hyperbolia. The puddites did not acknowledge the separation, but did nothing to stop it.
