It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, no actually it was the middle of winter in the state of Arizona. There sitting around the Christmas tree was a bunch of boxes. This was the house of the Robertsons. They were the only ones that celebrated Christmas on their block. Although they celebrated it in a very differnt wasy from the rest of the world. For them it was traditional to wrap up a bunch of boxes with wrapping paper and ribbons all nice and neat and stare at them endlessly as the sat under the tree. You see, the Robertsons had their Christams tree up for most of the year. There it sat and then the whole family would go Christmas shopping in February, wrap their gifts and place them under the tree. There the gifts would sit until it was Christmas. The Robertsons had no TV, so they would just sit and watch the presents. There was this one year when Bobby wanted a puppy for Christmas, so his parents got one for him in July, and for the rest of the year or at least until the puppy died they were able to watch one of the boxes move around the room. Actually, they never wrapped the puppy, I just wanted to see how you would react to them being so cruel as to wrap a reall puppy. In actuality it was a plastic dog, one of the ones that has batteries and walks around yapping it's head off. The entertainment only lasted as long s the Duracell Coppertops. Which really isn't that long, despite what those stupid ads on TV show. So, the part abou the tree and the gifts were not lies, these people were wierd. I would say that they were extremely lucky that their parents got them an artificial tree, otherwise the tree wouldn't be very pretty to look at when it came to Christmas day. Since no one around the Robertsons celebrated Christmas, they whole family had to go on a trip to the North Pole in order to gather all of the things they would need to decorate their house. They did this about every summer, you see they were really winter freaks, I mean wooowweeee, freaks! To be continued, just too cheery for this sort of stuff now.
