There are five dead roses sitting in a vase on my dresser.
They are not pretty anymore, except maybe as dead roses are to dead people.
They do not beckon with a sweet scent, for me to put my nose close to them.
Fortunately they are not dead and sitting in water.
Water tends to smell when flowers have been sitting in it for a long time.
Actually, the smell is quite putrid, it turns the nose right off.
You should try it sometime, who knows you might like the ll of the
water.
However the good thing about dead roses, is that you never have to worry
about bees or wasps.
They don't seem to like dead roses, I still have yet to figure out why.
Maybe it's just another freak of nature.
Dead roses, they add some decoration, without the hassle of the fragrant
odour that annoys your guests with allergies.
